ReBuild Focus, to use Links, and through that ‘Learning to use Memory’.

At same time of stopping Neurodegeneration, (RE)BUILD ABILITIES OF FOCUS, ONLY THEN ABILITY OF RESPONDING AND TAKING PART AGAIN!

Presently, either the use of the anti-TAU antibody, or of stopping neuro-degeneration through the administration of the polyphenols, it is important to (Re)Build Abilities, that is needed.

Most important, for survivors of severe TBIs (20s-40s) that they need to rebuild when Memory use are lost, is Not to be Distracted.

– SO hB! WILL TEACH THEM TO USE LINKS TO ACCESS THEIR MEMORY USE.

 

 

Only then comes the ability of Accessing their Memory, severe TBIs cause many different Memory-abilities to be lost;
-Memories of Current events
-Previously learnt educational, learned
-Making New memories.

Thse points all add up, making the survivors sidelined, and instead of Involved doing something, they become Sidelined, just Observers.

For survivors of severe TBI -like that which I acquired in March 1988- to learn to Focus, and develop Continuity come before Responding.

Then to Learn to Make-, Recall-, Use-, Recount-memories, finally needing to Set Context, that allows the to develop/resume Responsibility.
THIS IS KEY!

An important ability there is Inner-Speech.
-This ability -especially to survivors with higher Cognitive Reserve- is needed first, before  the abilities needed in learning to make Links.

My TBI tells me Self Dialogue needed in Longer term Recall linked with Task Doing

It is using my abilities -as peer- to help using my experience of the needed of Self-Dialogue to Link Memories in building recall and context.
Learning these are key when survivors have difficulties with Task doing.

KEY is that I want to serve ‘building/using the Self-dialogue (or inner speech) that is needed to Link Action to Memory Recall in cases of severe Tauopathy in 18-55 year old TBI survivors.Do this as Peer (offering to build the need of Self Dialogue)

Knowing, and Understanding all that happening around a TBI survivor is hard!
hB! can help because I empathise and comprehend how hard it is- and can use what I learned when I started to become aware, then how I dealt with, and overcame my Memory- difficulties.
My personal experience in the effort that I made when I felt that all this seemed a huge distance ahead of me!

 

It was only when I’d overcome able to use my recall again that I felt my abilities (cognition) had returned again!

All the taught me that Memory is special, needed for building LINKS Between comprehension memory making, -recall, response, Action, then building Recall of the the Task done.

BUILD BACK ABILITIES OF USING THIS TO HELP COGNITIVE ABILITIES NEEDED TO UNDERTAKE TASKS AGAIN

Use Polyphenol (Curcumin&Ginkgo) to stop Tauopathy, then to build Cognitive Links needed in TBI Peers

Brain function, that include Cognitive processes, can not happen during as the result of the  Neurodegenerative-processes.

Fairly recent findings find that these Neurodegenerative process can be halted by Polyphenols, present in the leaves of plants -such as Ginkgo biloba, and Curcumin.

 

However, recent findings -that like in my own rehab- that when neurodegenerative processes are stopped, that the needed new memories are generate  through neurogenesis,
Importamt is that this can happen!
-THIS IS KEY in building new Memories, used to generate new abilities-

 

Learning new abilities following TBI. that stops the rise to Tauopathy, this benefits from direction in new Learning/Interaction. From my example of being involved in academic studies before, I benefited my new learning, what is needed to use:
(i) Focus
(ii) Memory making –> Linking the related encounters
(iii) Re-calling these, helped by Memory Association (Links)
(iv) Task doing
(v) Task recall
(vi) Re-assesment -the context that the task was completed, and what the next move (contextual action) will be.

 

 

Such as process of Linked thinking/action, consequential action is only needed rarely, as it is encountered only by fewer workers with a higher CR.

 

 

 

Other than making new neural association (Links) whilst the polyphenols stop Neurodegeneration, comes from the fact that new Links are Learned.
-Needed in this process of Active learning is Neuronal Growth – Neural Regeneration.

 

In my own rehab, as I had read that Ginseng (Korean) helps Active learning, it really helped when I took this.
-Cognitive processes need Focus and Motivated Link Making, -Use, -Recall and
-Reassessment.

Learn this alongside someone who had to learn this himself, and for whom this worked!

Because of my own TBI (acquired in 1988) I am familiar with how hard a task Relearning can be. For survivors of higher Cognitive Reserve, a wider network of Memories -and dealing with them, as afore described, needs Memory making, – making, -recall, then -use are separate abilities in cognitive process.

For many people, doing a task means that these abilities can be used separate from one another.
-For people with higher Cognitive Reserve, they undertake work that decisions get made dependent on the previous happening. This manner of thinking uses many memory Associations (Links).
-Do work, undertake tasks, where the step is done Consequential.

Role of Peer-support to help ‘Self-dialogue’ to build Memory abilities and Task-doing.

Helping to develop this ability of Self-Dialogue in other Survivors of TBI.
-I want to use Peer-dialogue, working alongside survivor with higher CR, to build memory-use abilities through them building their Inner-dialogue to access Memory use and Self-dialogue, Making -> Using Links needed to carry out tasks as well as Review that when the task is completed and done.

It is this Responsibility and work with Link making. use and checking, that has a key role in the increase raised level) of the Cognitive Reserve.

Where, I want to work alongside other survivors with higher CR, who due to Tauopathy have difficulties with their memory recall. Through hB! I want to help  direct them in building their memory use abilities. I want to do so, initially from outside, to make that an internal derived ability in the long run.

I want to do so, by just working alongside them, and serve to build their Self-dialogue ability.
Needed other than the Links, is to talk about the roles of Reviewing and Rechecking that happenings of that day.

This is needed to give Context, the role of which is  key for other survivors in my peer group.

 

This is an example of the use of firsthand User-led experience in Action!

 

‘The Role of Self-dialogue’ (not Inner-speech) in Linking Memory and Task-doing for TBI survivor

Short-term memory retention for severe TBI survivors end up with longer term difficulties. This means that learning anything new, or even recalling anything known before, becomes unconnected.

This -even for survivors without other cognitive difficulties- means that even just to respond in a relevant manner, does not happen, or, becomes hard.

This makes Speaking with them, trying to build Dialogue, or even in the longer term non-related comments., holding a Conversation, becomes impossible (or else, hard)!

As, I wanted to be seen to be there, I felt I had to make a comment!
-I stuttered and spoke unclearly. Because I wanted not to be overlooked, I voiced myself, because I wanted to show I was there, and I felt like, I wanted to be heard! Ofter  what I uttered was unclear, and often not related (or even irrelevant).
-I DIDN’T LIKE BECOMING SIDELINED AND AN ‘OBSERVER’ (never happened to me before!)

 

This changed when I started to regularly take Ginkgo. (I took it, not for the now known, reason of fighting Tauopathy, but fir the fact that I knew that this increased blood flow to the brain.)

Although, unbeknown to me this was helping me, I continued to take part and build my terrible Memory-Use, ~Recall, and -Retention.

There I learned t that to Keep a daily diary, that I wrote on the next day, at the start of the next morning (whilst ‘Plonked on the Thrown’), this discipline helped me. [I learned to outline each day ahead of time on a checklist that I checked everyday early on in my rehab, before then after my diary writing!

 

As the severity of my TBI had affected my relearned -memory, my recent -, my – of proposed/preplanned actions, as well as my Working -, learning to make cognitive Links was crucial!

 

I learned to Focus. This made all that I undertook easier to relate to each other, and was key in my rehab! My ability -not of inner-speech (as needed in realization) the ‘Self-dialogue that I used -making memory-Links, helping – recall before carrying out a task, alongside the use of – checking that needed in task doing, the -recall of actions carried out, was helped by this Focus and Self-dialogue.

 

It is here that I want to work alongside other TBI survivors with higher Cognitive Reserve  (i.e. higher educated graduates) who survive a serious TBI.

To reenable them to take part, respond in context to that happening where they are, and to reintegrate them, and help them undertake work, and doing so responsibility, I want to do as serving the role of the ‘Self-dialogue’.

It was reminding myself of this needed ‘Self-dialogue’ -that was not easily recalled, and then correctly- that I helped my recall ability.

It was only after doing that, that I managed to relearn, learn to recall, do, and make are what I did was wanted and correct, that I started to take art again!
